Promotional Dog Tags
Dog tags make a great promotional item, and we can handle any quantity, so whether you're wanting 100 sets for a big party, or 10,000 sets for a big product launch we can do it. They make a great giveaway because they trigger reciprocation and open up opportunities for future business. Millions of dollars are spent in promotional items each year because it works. Advertising in the form of freebies is extremely successful, and dog tags are a superb gift that can be handed out at parties, gigs, trade shows, events and exhibitions. Associating your brand name with a dog tag customised with your logo, can reach out and grab your customer's attention. Remember to add your contact details on them.
Some of the projects we've produced tags for recently include:
- Pop Up Store for new product release:
- Bootcamp fitness event for a chain of gyms;
- Promotion of a military-themed book;
- A launch event for a new release of a war game;
- Giveaways for a student union freshers' week event;
- Dogtags for inclusion in a limited edition album box set;
- Entrance ‘tickets’ for a charity event.
For big projects, we can provide branded and customised tags. We offer several ways of doing this, and we're always happy to explore other options. The standard branding methods are set out below. (Click on the pictures to enlarge).
|Our standard embossing service is available for any quantity of tags.
Suitable for: Projects requiring text only and projects where each tag requires different information (e.g. a name or ID number).
|Allows a multi-coloured paint image to be applied to the dog tag. Pad printed tags cannot be embossed with text.
Suitable for: simple multi-coloured logos. One-off events when the long-term durability of the printing is not important.
|A logo can be embossed onto the tag in the same way as the text. Embossed logos cannot be combined with embossed text.
Suitable for: strong, simple logos, without fine detail.
|Photo etching creates a raised image on one or both sides of the dog tag and is a process for reproducing fine detail with high accuracy. The photo etching can be left plain, or filled in with colour.
Suitable for: detailed colour images, double sided tags.
|For durable, single colour images, with fine detail. On stainless steel tags, the laser-engraving process gives a black image (see top image), and on our coloured anodised tags, it produces a silver/white image. The only way to remove laser engraving is by scraping away the remaining surface of the tag. Laser engraved tags can be embossed on the reverse, as shown here on the top image.
Suitable for: logos or drawings with fine details. Text that can't be done on the military embosser - e.g. specific fonts, non-standard characters or symbols, non-Latin scripts. Short run jobs.
